October last year saw the introduction of a brand new micro beer festival, the Red Rocktoberfest, hosted here at the brewery. Over 400 people attended over 2 days to enjoy live music, streetfood and, of course, delicious beers, ciders and gins sourced from across our beautiful county of Devon.
Red Rock owner Lewis says “Red Rocktober was all about showcasing local, small independent producers. The local producers we hand selected to appear at the festival were businesses who share the same ethos as us and produce quality, distinctive products. With ales in particular, people know what they like but are also open to trying new things and a Beer Festival is a great way to explore new tastes and learning more about the businesses who operate close to home”.
Such was the success of the event, we’re doing it all again this year! The festival format will be the same with an indoor and an outside bar open from 5-11pm on Friday 4th and 2-11pm on Saturday 5th October. Tickets are already on sale and if you book before 13th September you’ll save £1 per ticket. Details including our partner breweries, cider and gin producers will be shared over the coming weeks so make sure you follow our Facebook and Instagram accounts to hear all the news as it happens.
