If you’re out and about in hostelry’s across the South of England this Autumn, you may well come across a brand new brew called Winter Stag. Brewed exclusively for Tolchards Drinks, this dry hopped amber ale has been produced using a brand new recipe created by Red Rock’s owner and director Lewis Parkes.

“The best part of my job is experimenting with ingredients and creating beers that are memorable to people. With winter brews, you can dry hop the ale and use traditional ingredients like cinnamon and cloves to give it a real taste of the season. It’s a busy time of year for us”.

As well as brewing Winter Stag for Tolchards, we’ll be launching 2 of our own winter ales in the lead up to the festive season. Available mid-November will be a strong and full bodied Christmas Cheers ale at 5.2% ABV. Also available will be our Hoppy Crimbo amber ale at 4% ABV. Both beers will be in 500ml bottle and cask. We’ll also have our craft Red Ale and craft Porter back in stock ready for the Christmas rush!
