On Wednesday the brewery opened its doors to 7 Business Management students from Exeter College. One of their topics for this year is Contemporary Issues in Business and they are covering the rise of artisan food and drink as part of this module. Red Rock was approached, along with our local distiller friends at Exeter Gin, by the College’s Programme Manager, Deborah Kearney and Lewis was obviously delighted to welcome them. During their time here they learnt all about our brewing operation, how we get our beer out to market, develop the brand and keep our costs under control.
We hope we have inspired them and given plenty of food for thought for their forthcoming assignments and presentations.
It was really great seeing how Red Rock Brewery operated and it was refreshing to see a small, family operated business making such a big impact on the industry! Lewis was very insightful and gave us plenty of information to mull over for the Contemporary Issues unit. A great brand and I can’t wait to get my hands on a bottle next time I hit the town.
Thank you for having us!
Cheers,
Lewis (Business Management student)
