Great news! If you have visited the local Morrisons in Teignmouth you will no doubt have seen our dedicated ‘local producer’ end of aisle. Sales of our Red Rock bitter and Capstan full strength brew have gone down a storm since we were listed with the supermarket chain in March 2018.
Brewery Director Lewis says “getting listed with Morrisons was a great achievement and has worked wonders for getting recognition for our brand locally. It’s a very different customer in a supermarket to say, some of our more independent retailers and it makes good business sense to try and cover all bases. The interest and support we have received from the beers and spirits team in the Teignmouth store especially has gone beyond what we imagined, hence we are now in a position to supply more of our beers to the store”.
As of this week you can now find our best selling Lighthouse IPA 3.9% ABV, our Drift Wood 4.3% ABV amber ale and our Back Beach 3.8% ABV golden ale in the Teignmouth store too. Plus we’ll be rolling these beers out to the 8 additional stores across South and Mid Devon in the coming weeks.
