We’re really excited to be launching with Tolchards Drinks a brand new collaboration brew – The Crafty Mr Fox! This perfect Session Summer Ale was dreamed up during a recent visit by the Tolchards Sales team to our brewery. Inspired by our location, surrounded by rolling hills and spectacular views stretching from Dartmoor to the coast, Crafty Mr Fox was born! Full of flavour, as you might expect from a Red Rock beer, it’s a Pale Ale at 4.1% with a slightly orange hue, not too bitter and a good amount of hops. We simply can’t wait for you to try it!
The brains behind the recipe is Brewery Director Lewis Parkes. “It was a real pleasure to host the Tolchards team at our brewery. We’ve worked with the guys there for a long time but many of them had never been to see where the beer they sell is produced. We’ve worked on collaboration brews with Tolchards before, most recently was the Winter Stag/Christmas Cheer ale last winter. That went down a storm so now we’re launching a new brew for spring/summer which we are confident will be equally well received by customers.”
The name and branding for the new beer was the work of Tolchards’s Sales Rep Lucy and she has been working with Marketing Manager Mark on the pump clip design. Their design is striking, elegant and unique, just like the beer itself.
The new beer features in their May/June Cask Selection booklet and orders are now being taken. The advice is to get in touch with a Tolchards Area Sales Rep as soon as possible to get your hands on a cask and be the first to try it!
